143Days #223 Busy As a Bee

A honey bee zeros in on a pink flower to gather more pollen for honey

The honey bee was already carrying a big load of pollen, but kept going from flower to flower for just a bit more.

We were elated to see the return of some honey bees this year. They have been scarce the past few years. Watching them all working over these pink blooms only confirmed that saying about someone being “busy as a bee.” This one has already gathered so much pollen, it is having trouble moving from flower to flower. The bit of wind made it even more difficult but it refused to let a few hardships defeat it. I worked on for another minute or two before taking off with its precious golden treasure.

Cheers,

Shez
