358Days ShezPhoto #8 Christmas Tree Trunk

Straight, Sturdy and Naked

It was a dark and dreary day the morning we undecorated the tree. It was large and stiff and rather than move all the furniture to get it out of the house, we prune it. After the limbs were lopped off the tree they were stuffed in the recycle bin.

All that was left of our gorgeous Christmas Tree were the memories, the trunk, a sprinkle of needles on the carpet, three unhappy cats, and a sad, empty, dreary and lonely living room corner. Had a crime been committed? 01.07.2012
