324Days #42 Storm Grate

Storm Grate

Lat Monday’s walk also revealed this storm grate. Although it is new in the past three years, it shows age with rust. I loved how some of the shadows or sky reflections reveal such a beautiful blue against the greys and browns of the grate. The dark shadows down into the abyss bring all the focus to the detail of the grate. I notice that the rust begins at each intersection where the pieces are joined with welds.
