290Days #76 Trombones

Not exactly trombones, but at least it is a view of a musical instrument.

OK, I know this is not a trombone. But it does make music and they are often heard together at a concert. Besides, this is the only #76 post I’ll have this year.

Do you play a musical instrument? If so what kind? If not have you ever wished you did? What kind would you play?

So that is a lot of questions for one day. But I would love to hear from you. Don’t be afraid to leave a comment. Thanks.

Until tomorrow,

What exactly is that a picture of ? Piano ? But i am a percussionist myself. I enjoy the rhythms created by simple hand drums and gatherings of that kind.

Piano, yes. The inner workings are an amazing number of moving parts, all carefully aligned to do their job. I thought it created a very interesting pattern. All musical expressions can bring great joy.

I can play piano… although I haven’t played in quite a while… when I sat down again the other day, it just frustrated me because my fingers have gotten all dumb on me…. 😦 I suppose I just have to make the effort again to go sit and play everyday… 😉 **

My ability has gone up and down for decades. I was seriously studying and practicing a couple of hours a day when a bad injury to my thumb (among other things) stopped it cold. My thumb never recovered but after a year of therapy, it no longer hurt but when I went back to play, I was back at square one. Maybe…someday when i retire…;)
