273Days #93 Farm

Farm

Farms are always enchanting.  I loved this image, the interesting fence which protects the corn from these critters and it unintentionally keeps them out of the field of Queen Anne’s Lace. The peaceful  goats, the sheep and the chickens all living together in friendship and harmony

But don’t get lost in the tranquility before checking out the motor home. I was actually trying to get the shot of only the animals, but this was the best I could do. This farm had lots of “stuff” everywhere ruining the pastoral view. After looking at the photo I realize I probably missed the most interesting thing here. Farms are common, this thing is anything but common.

There in all it’s glory  is one of the most interesting, creative, fabulous use of material,   unique and flat-out weirdest, ugliest vehicle ever. A Volkswagen Van with the bottom third sliced off  and welded to the top of an old school bus. It could be total hippie randomness except there was not a flower, heart, or peace sign adorning it. At the side of the bus/van the red-painted part appears to be a new tip out addition. It isn’t, it is a small storage building in the background.

Find uniqueness in your life today. I hope it is not uniquely ugly. My wish is that you find  unique beauty.

Cheers,

Shez

I kind of like the old vehicles in the photo. They have a lot of character.
