271Days #95 Chestnut Backed Chickadee

Chestnut Backed Chickadee

This little guy, or it’s maybe a girl because she does not seem to be quite as vivid as some of them that frequent the feeder, is too cute. He lets me get quite close but never stops moving. There have been many different specie of birds to watch. The challenge is to get the photo. They all are in constant motion so there are dozens of misses to every one that works.

The last couple of weeks have been very busy at work and on the home front. The next couple look like they are also going to be “so much to do … so little time,” that my posts will be short and some photos will be coming from the archives. This one was is current and taken with my Olympus PEN Mini, but the next few will be  “historical.”

The stormy weather skies, spring popping up, the trees and flowers blooming, and all the wonderful birds frequenting the back yard have provided no end of awesome photo opportunities. The result of all the photo ops is my 8 gig SD card is maxed out and the battery needs  recharging. Have to take care of both tonight.

Here’s hoping you enjoy the oldies as well.

Until tomorrow,
