270Days #96 Stormy Sky

Stormy Sky

After telling you I would not have time to do more photos, write blogs or much of anything else this week, I managed to capture this shot tonight on the way home.  The sky was ever-changing, a brewing storm whipping the clouds into billows of white, grey and nearly black. The sky was dropping everything from rain, to showers, to sleet , to hail. At one point today a tornado appeared over Portland but did not touch down.

Thanks to all of you who comment and make suggestions. I appreciate any tidbits of help or critiques or suggestions any of you send my way.

Here’s hoping you all see something that inspires you and you end up with some shots that are awesome or at the least please you.

Cheers,

Shez

I saw some clouds like that on this side of the mountains too. Didn’t get a storm though. Sun today but still cold.

The storms were random, so we didn’t have anything except sprinkles at home. But grandkids about 6 miles away had hail that covered the deck and their dad’s car in white in a 5 minute flurry. Thanks for the “like.”

Really pretty! I was hailed on in Beaverton yesterday…big time!

    • Shez says :

Thank you, Terri. You can see the spotty weather hitting various parts by looking at the sky. At least we get ALL types of weather in a single day!!
