265Days #101 The Car The Fans

Fans Oblivious to the Photographers

This was a photo taken at the Art Museum Auto Show. Perhaps the oldest car on display, it was huge. In order to get all of it in a shot it required standing a distance away. I discovered that leaving so much space this area became a hall way. Few stopped to look at the car, but the parade passing through couldn’t be avoided.

Now looking back at the photo the people could almost be ghosts of drivers from the past. If only they were dressed in period attire it would totally work. So maybe I passed through the time space vortex and was taking a photo of the new car when people of the future passed by.

Do we really know?

PS My phone knows. It time/date stamps everything. Sadly, it really was a blurry image of our present day lack of personal dignity or pride and our total acceptance of our laid back wash and wear casual society. We might not look good, but we sure are comfortable.
