210Days #156 Dead Cat-TAILS

The cattail sheds its seeds as though it is a giant dandelion.

Another view of the cattail exploding its massive quantity of seed wishes.

The sun is slightly illuminating this cattail as it blows its seed wishes.

A Ditch row of cattails
This stand of cattails grows in a ditch that runs parallel to the rail road tracks.

Cattails line the side of the rail road tracks

Cattails and the rail road tracks.

Cattail that fell by the tracks and in the rain it looked like a dead animal.

It startled me, I thought it was a little critter, but then I realized it was a dead cattail, its seeds to soggy to take wing and fly.

Cattails

More cattails

Beside the rail road tracks, the water at the edge of the ditch makes cattail habitat

The edge of the ditch by the rail road tracks makes the marsh the cattails need to flourish.

That’s all for tonight.

Hope your wishes come true.

Cheers,

Shez
