203Days #163 Wingless Iris

In the garden a unique "wingless" iris with more than a single bloom on the stalk. It is a beautiful bight clear plum color with lighter accents

The brightest plum pink iris grows in the garden with the other flowers.

This iris is a different variety, one I am not familiar with. It grows with more than one bloom on a stalk and I was captivated by the shape and the color. It is so different from the other iris in this garden, it lacks the winged look but more than makes up for its lack of wings with its fabulous shape, ruffled appearance and drop dead gorgeous colors.

Tomorrow I will post the “What Is It” gallery from last week. You are sure to enjoy it as it is truly from a one of a kind find.

And Wednesday we will hop back to flowers for a bit, just because photos of them have always filled my albums. It also helps that despite our cold, wet, sunless spring nature has not let us down. Everywhere I look there is yet another flower begging to be photographed.

Seek beauty and you will not be disappointed.

Cheers,

Shez
