149Days #217 PDX Color Fun

Another item from the sculpture wall

The spiky thing with black edges and tiny spikes.

The original color of this is compromised due to the lighting. I tried to adjust the hue to achieve the natural cream color of the exhibit . The natural color created a strong statement with the starkly black edges and what appear to be black plastic rivets. As you can see, getting the color correct eluded me. I ended up with this color, lightening the contrast and/or shadows washed out the black. Trying to bring a creamy off white just didn’t seem to happen. However, I did decide to play around with the hue tool and had fun creating a rainbow of colors for this wall thing, found at the Portland International Airport.

I hope you enjoyed this rainbow options show. Do you have a favorite color?
