127Days #239 Fall Blackberry Silhouette

The berries have dried, the sun has set, the silhouette is left.

The berries have dried, the sun has set, the silhouette is left.

This photo was taken one evening in late fall a few falls past. It symbolizes the tenacious spirit of the blackberry. Even as the world begins to go dormant, the blackberry holds on to some leaves through the frost, the cold, the snow, the winds and the fierce wet storms. The dried berries will endure the season as well. The following spring when the earth awakens, new canes will emerge from deep in the earth and climb past this dried sentinel. The cycle repeats.

Cheers,

Shez

PS I do believe all missing posts are accounted for. Take care.
