119Days #247 Bald Eagle

I left you yesterday just as the Bald Eagle flew behind the trees. I waited hoping it would return. I scanned the horizon and that is when I saw a flash of white in the tall pine across the lake. It was a hike, on a very hot day, about 98 degrees, unfortunately I was wearing a light weight fleece. It’s crazy what a photographer will put up with just to get a photo. But the excitement of stalking the eagle kept me going. These are some of the shots.

The eagle kept an (eagle) eye on me the whole time. When I was actually under the tree he was in the eagle became wary and flew off again. I saw where it landed, but decided to hike back to the car and switch my fleece for a light weight “sun” shirt. I’ll share those photos tomorrow morning.

Cheers,

Shez
