109Days #257 Wonder of Hay

We went to a wedding yesterday. It was an amazingly beautiful day set in a mown hay-field overlooking a valley with the hills rising behind. The view was more than spectacular as you will see in the next few days. Before the wedding started, one precious toddler was exploring the wonder of hay.

The sweet expressive face shows her amazement of seeing hay for the first time.

What she will one day have little interest in has her spell-bound and curious. “What is this?” she seems to be thinking. At this moment she is unsure if it is good or bad. One thing she has figured out is the ground underneath is not level and each step is a new challenge.

What new thing captivated you today?

Cheers,

Shez

She is precious. Just past a year and everything is a new adventure. I also loved her vintage dress, it seemed to belong in a different era when paths were often covered in hay.
