103Days #263 Rust and Old Lace

Rusty red barn roof peeks up from the hillside

The distant hills, the green valley, the dried Queen Anne’s Lace and grasses in the foreground make the rusting red roof a strange feature in an idyllic setting. The entire concept was too unusual to pass up. Since the question is hanging in the wings, I will tell you that this building is intact. The hillside drops steeply away from the upper level. The building is on a lower level, leaving only the roof exposed above the dried foliage.

Cheers,

Shez
