98Days #268 Textures

There were so many beautiful sights. I did take about 450 shots and it is hard to choose just one. Since I can’t, I will share several. Please let me know what you think about this particular group of shots.

Shiny orange pumpkins, hay, concrete and wrapped gifts.

Shiny orange pumpkins, hay, concrete, wrapped gifts and tissue paper. It is not often a single shot can be so many different things, so many different emotions and textures.

A quail feather with a fluff of down lies on the hay and some fleshy leave with tiny hairs poke through the hay.

A single beautiful feather with a smooth half and a fluffy downy end against a backdrop of golden hay. A small grey green plant pokes through the hay and reveals a stubble of hairs reminiscent of a stubble of beard. Truly a texture rich photo.

Long shadows dance on the texture of the mown hay field.
Long shadows dance on the texture of the mown hay-field, without the hay, these shadows would have no texture.
