74Days #292 Wild Apples

Apples growing in wild fields.

These apples grow on ancient apple trees in what at one time might have been a by a house, but there is no evidence of any house ever having stood there.

I don’t know who planted these trees, but the old apples are firm, sweet and delicious. Since they grow wild they are complete with blemishes and no pesticides or other chemical have contaminated them. They are beautiful.

The tree with the bright red apples is very gnarled and appears ancient. The blackberries have engulfed it, so picking the apples is tricky, but worth the price. They are a small and clearly bright red.

The yellow apples with the red blush are in the field beside our building. These start out green, turn yellow and a ripe when the red blush colors one side of them. Luscious and lovely.

Cheers to Johnny Appleseed,

Shez
