59Days #307 Montana Snow Caps

Montana snow caps

The snow-caped mountain ridge we wound past in northern Montana provided some amazing beauty.

Morning came to us in Whitefish Montana. This was taken about 9 am on Tuesday as the train wound around the mountains. The sights were stunning, the ability to capture them from a moving train through dirty windows was not always as successful. However, since there are no houses or roads or towns nearby, the view from the train may be the only one, unless you love to hike miles with a backpack. Not advisable when this time of years a day can make a difference in a nice hike or being stuck in a blizzard. More on that later.

Cheers to beautiful mountains,
