37Days #329 Holiday Sights

Bright holiday lights reflect on the empty streets.

The bright, cheery, holiday streets wet with rain, were crowd-less.

This was the first scene we came across that showed so many reflections in the rain soaked streets and sidewalks. The mall was not very crowded, probably due to a very soggy day. We found the shelf where the item we had gone to get was supposed to be. The shelf was empty. We didn’t wait long for them to get it out of the back room. Everyone was simply happy and in holiday mood. It was a week after the black Friday sales and too early for the Christmas panic. Perhaps the lack of crowds had something to do with that, but I suspect it had more to do with the weather.

Shop when the weather is the worst and you will not find crowds. So bad weather is something to be thankful for. At least some times.

Cheers to rain,

Shez
