28Days #338 Wind Breaks

Rows of trees create wind breaks between the fields.

Rows of trees create wind breaks between the fields.

The subtle colors of the wind rows were beautiful. At this point on the way to the train station the traffic had begun to move again. We were flying along at almost 10 miles per hour, but at least we were moving.

We were starting to sweat it out. It was almost time for the train. I grabbed my phone, prayed for service and looked online to see if I could find a phone number. There is only one train a day. If we miss this one we will be stuck in the station for 24 hours. There are no vacancies anywhere in Williston.

Yea, we had service and a message from Amtrak! The train was running 2 hours late!! We might make it after all.

Cheers to cell service,
