22Days #344 Trees: Bug Art to Blossoms

Bug Hiroglyphics

Bug hieroglyphics

We came across, literally across since we had to cross it to get to a fishing hole. I was amazed that some long ago bugs had carved their own message  or art into the wood. After the tree died, the bark loosened and weathered to eventually fall off to reveal their work. Quite an amazing find.

Pear Blossoms

Pear Blossoms

A month or so earlier I came across an ancient and twisted pear tree in bloom. The blossoms are delicate works of art of another kind. This old tree is creating fruit to fall to feed the birds, critters and bugs. If everything falls into place just so new life may emerge in the form small seedling pear tree.

What wonders abound when we look and really see.

Cheers to sights discovered,

Shez
