2/52 Nature’s Many Faces

Four images taken on a frozen morning.

A frozen day creates new images.

w2013-01-03FrozenWater1 w2013-01-03SoftColorsAtFrozenPond w2013-01-03TwigsAtFrozenPondThe early morning sun just caught the edge of a flock of Canada Geese waking up from their night (top). On the other side of the road, the scene was in the shadows. The sun  peeking through glinted off the frozen ice of a small pond and the next two photos could almost be black and white, though they are in color. In-spite of it being January, an occasional bush still had a leaf or two. The variation of the color of the twigs were a pretty sight and a close up shows them off (bottom).

All four shots were taken within a few feet of each other within a two-minute widow of time in Tualatin, Oregon, USA.

Cheers to nature’s many faces,

Shez
